About Daniel Delfani (PhD)
Daniel Delfani, a renowned international futurist (Prospectiviste) , has applied his extensive knowledge and years of experience in strategic foresight, governance, and leadership to establish Futurale College in North America.
With a PhD in Modern History and an International Doctorate in Strategic Foresight (DSF) from Sorbonne University in France, Daniel Delfani has excelled as a professor, researcher, and director of numerous international strategic foresight projects. He is also the founding president of Methodologica Governance University (www.mguniversity.org) in Paris, a position he has held since 2007.
A prolific author, Daniel Delfani has published over 10 books in French and Persian, along with more than 100 academic articles across French, English, and Persian. He also serves as the publication director and editor-in-chief of Analytica Iranica, a multidisciplinary academic journal focusing on Iranian studies (in English and French), which has been published in France since 2008.
Daniel is a prominent keynote speaker at international forums and conferences, and he has successfully organized and directed many such events across Europe and Canada.
Currently, Daniel is in the final stages of his upcoming book, “L’art de l’anticipation; naviguer l’avenir incertain”( The art of anticipation, navigating the uncertain future). The book is set to be published in January 2026 by Methodologica Governance University Press in Paris.
Daniel is currently planning the format, approaches, and methods for a new journal dedicated to strategic foresight at Futurale College. This groundbreaking initiative will be the first of its kind in Canada. Set for release in 2026, The Futurale Journal will serve as both an academic and practical resource for scholars and professionals, published in French and English.
As an experienced consultant in strategic planning and foresight, Daniel collaborates with institutions and businesses globally. He is a pioneer in creating innovative and effective foresight methods, having developed two distinct models:
- Future Self (a proactive model for personal foresight)
- 8SMatrice (a foresight quadrant model)
He has also conceptualized all the programs and projects for Futurale College, tailoring them for diverse individuals and organizations.
In his leadership role at Futurale College, the first institution of its kind in Canada, Daniel aims to implement new methods and approaches in strategic foresight. Collaborating with leading international experts and futurists, his vision is to establish Futurale College as a global benchmark in strategic foresight.
